11/16″ x 23″ LONG Auger Bit (727 series)

These industrial grade high carbon steel auger bits feature a self feed screw point to eliminate the need for a center punch hole. A single spur outlines the hole before cutting to ensure greater precision and accuracy when drilling into wood/timber. Black oxide flutes makes the bit drill cooler and a quick change hex shank allows for a firm grip with drill chucks. The overall length is 23″ and twist flute length is 18″. Extended reach makes this auger bit perfect for railroad ties or creosoted poles. Each bit is packed in a clear reusable plastic tube
